Material –

  • Potato – 1 kg
  • Garlic buds-10-12
  • Ginger – 1 big piece
  • a pinch of asafoetida
  • Mustard oil – two tablespoons
  • Amchur – 1 tbsp
  • Mustard – 1/2 tsp
  • Turmeric – half teaspoon
  • Chili – half tsp
  • Dried whole chili-2-3
  • Fenugreek powder – half teaspoon
  • salt to taste

How to Make Achari Aloo Masala Recipe

Step 1 – First of all wash one kg of potatoes and boil them and peel them and cut them into small pieces.

Step 2 – After this, grate ten twelve garlic buds and ginger with a grater of a big piece.

Step 3 – Now prepare dry red chilies and three pinches of asafetida and two spoons of mustard oil, one tablespoon of dry mango and fenugreek powder, mustard, salt, chili turmeric according to taste.

Step 4 – Now take a pan, add mustard oil and heat it and then temper mustard seeds and add asafoetida.

Step 5 – Now add ginger and garlic and fry it, after that add turmeric, salt, chili, put potatoes in it and keep stirring it in between.

Step 6 – Now put dry chilies on top of it and add ginger garlic and then cover the badger lid and let the potatoes fry.

Step 7 – Now put roasted fenugreek on potatoes and cook for a while, put one spoon of mango in it and turn off the gas. Your pickled potatoes are ready.
