Better Care of Your Underarms: We often forget to take care of the most sensitive part of our body, which is our underarms. Tell us the truth when was the last time you pampered your underarms? Simply applying deo to the underarm or rolling on is not enough. Apart from this, underarms also need care.
Did you know that your underarms are exposed to bacteria, dead skin, clogged pores on a daily basis, which causes itching, redness and irritation. You cannot eliminate all these things just by taking a bath. Your underarms come in direct contact with the air and because of this you can get a rash, infection etc. You may also have problems with dryness etc.
Better Care of Your Underarms – Follow this underarm care routine
If you want your underarms to be healthy, then you should also follow a routine and these 4 steps can help you with this:
Clean Every Day
It is very important to wash the underarm daily to prevent germ buildup. For this you should use soap and water. Keep in mind that you use mild soap only because your underarms are very sensitive and for this reason harsh soap should not be used daily. Also, take care that you do not rub the soap or loofah too tightly.
Remove Hair if Needed
Shave your underarm hair whenever needed. With its help, your underarms remain clean and there is no smell of sweat. By shaving regularly, your roll-on and deo work even more effectively. If you want, you can remove the hair from your underarm with a razor or hair removal cream. However, before that do a patch test once.
Exfoliate once a week
Exfoliating is very important to remove the dead skin that has accumulated on your armpits. You can exfoliate at least once a week. Use a mild scrub for this. Make sure you are gentle on your skin. Rub it in circular motion for some time and then clean it with water.
Do You want it
– 1 tbsp baking soda
– 1 tsp coconut oil
– half tsp lemon juice
Make Scrub like this
Mix everything well in a bowl and make a paste. Now apply this paste in circular motion on the armpit. Keep for a few minutes and then wash off with cold water. However, do a patch test before applying it.
Use Natural Deo
Instead of using chemical based deo, use natural deo, which lasts longer. You can make a natural body deo with baking soda, lemon juice, apple cider vinegar, coconut oil. Along with this, you will also find such perfumes, deo and roll-ons in the market which are made naturally.
Keep These Things in Mind
– Don’t be too harsh on your underarms.
– If you have dry underarm skin, use a moisturizer.
– Wear breathable clothes or wear light fabric or cotton clothes.
– If the redness and itching do not go away, then contact the doctor.
