Runway 34 Movie Download 2022: Runway 34 Review Directed by Ajay Devgan, ‘Runway 34′ is a movie inspired by true story, in which a pilot takes a heavy risk in bad weather, keeping all the rules in mind and lands the plane on the ground. He gets the job done successfully, but then an investigation is set up against him and the trial goes on.

On 18 August 2015, Jet Airways’ Doha-Kochi flight had landed at 5.45 am due to bad weather and poor visibility. Based on this, the story of Runway 34 has been written. Captain Vikrant Khanna (Ajay Devgan) is responsible for taking the Dubai to Kochin flight. He drinks a lot up to 15 hours before the flight time. His condition is not well when he takes off from Dubai with First Officer Tanya (Rakul Preet Singh). He is upset because of the hangover. The eyes are red. Tanya notes this, but does not say anything.

When they are about to reach Kochin, they get the news that the weather is very bad there. They ask to divert the flight to Bangalore, but Vikrant takes the flight to Thiruvananthapuram, ignoring Tanya’s words. The weather there gets worse than in Kochin. Fuel is running out. In such a situation, ignoring all the warnings, Vikrant lands the plane on runway 34 of Thiruvananthapuram airport. After this the investigation goes on against him.

Runway is a two-part film. The thrill of landing the flight before the interval. The interval is followed by courtroom drama in which Vikrant and Tanya face a meticulous investigation of the flamboyant Narayan Vedant (Amitabh Bachchan) of the Airplane Accident Investigation Bureau.

The first part of the interval is good. The troubles faced by the pilot sitting in the cockpit are well shown. How Vikrant and Tanya deal with it and make a safe landing is what creates excitement. Some scenes create such an effect that the audience feels that they themselves are sitting on the plane and struggling with the problem.

Vikrant is described as a very smart pilot, he is proud of his ‘photographic memory’. He remembers all the figures. At a height of thousands of feet, he says that there is no emotion here, calculation and math’s work, so his words are believed.

The passengers in the plane are definitely ‘stereotypes’, Parsi, Sikh, Muslim characters look filmy and passengers are seen overreacting even when the situation is under control. These scenes could have been done better.

The courtroom drama doesn’t impress much after the interval, though there is an entry of an artist like Amitabh Bachchan. Narayan is described as a very intelligent and hair-skinning man, but that sharpness is not visible in his interrogation.

Not much was talked about Vikrant’s medical report. The position on why it chooses Thiruvananthapuram over the safe landing in Bangalore has also not been clarified. Courtroom drama was a hit in terms of writing, if a little attention had been given here, the film could have touched a different level. It would have been better if some scenes of flight landing were added along with the courtroom drama, the thrill in the film would have increased.

The greed of the airlines owners and their harsh behavior towards the pilots and crew members is depicted through the character of Boman Irani. It may not be very effective, but it speaks for itself.

Ajay Devgan has walked on a straight line as a director. He has not given much ups and downs in the film. He has made the first half exciting except for the stereo type characters and the routine part of the family drama. Well done with our technical team. Most of the first half is shot in a plane, yet it does not bore. Ajay has made the film run at a brisk pace and despite being a two and a half hour film, the timing is not known.

Ajay has been doing fine as an actor. He has not given much expressions, which does not suit the character. The character of Amitabh Bachchan has been weakened by the writer, so that he could not leave much impact. Whatever chance Rakul Preet Singh got, she did her job well.
