1. Steam

This is the easiest and most effective way and at the same time it is also a very good option for cleansing the skin. For this, all you need is warm water in a bowl and cover your head with a towel and keep your face above the water. If you want, you can also use a face steamer. Apart from this, you can add green tea or a few drops of peppermint to the water to make your experience better. If your skin is oily or acne-prone, then you should add tea-tree oil and take steam for at least 10 to 15 minutes.

2. Honey and Lemon Mask

Honey is an important ingredient used in almost all DIY masks as it has healing properties as well as helps to tighten pores. The easiest mask for this is to apply a little honey directly on your face or if you want, you can mix curd and cinnamon with olive oil.

Apart from this, lemon is also a very good ingredient and is a natural exfoliator. You can mix it in your mask or apply it directly on your face. Leave it on for at least 10 minutes and then wash your face with warm water. You can use this mask 2 to 3 times a week as per your need and if you have dry skin then you should not apply lemon.

3. Parsley

It is not only good at removing dark spots but it is also a very good cleanser. If you want, you can apply it every other day or you can use it twice a week by mixing it with honey and lemon. For this, soak some parsley in water and then put a cotton cloth in this water and keep this cloth on your face for 10 to 15 minutes. To make a mask, you should finely chop the parsley and mix it with a tablespoon of honey and apply it on your face. After keeping it for at least 15 minutes, wash your face with normal water.

4. Sugar Scrub

Although you should scrub your skin regularly but some scrubs are quite harsh on sensitive skin and because of this sugar is perfect for you. All you have to do for this is mix 2 tablespoons of sugar in the juice of half a cut lemon and make a thick paste by adding 2 drops of water and massage it on your skin and after that wash your face.

5. Baking Soda

You can also easily make a baking soda mask at home. For this, take 2 tbsp of baking soda and mix it with 1 tsp of water. This mask also balances the pH level of your skin. Leave it on for at least 5 to 10 minutes and then wash your face. If you want, you can also add 1 tsp of honey to it.

6. Clay

Although you can buy clay masks from the market, but it is also very easy to make it at home. For this you need powdered clay, which you will get from any health store. Now add oatmeal and water to it. Mix all three well and keep this mixture on your face till it dries up. It is very good for oily skin but if you have dry skin then you should apply this mask on your skin only in summers.
