Udaipur City Palace
The City Palace was built in 1559 by Maharana Udai Mirza Singh (the place to visit in Udaipur). This palace is situated on the banks of Lake Pichola. It is a mix of European, Medieval and Chinese style of architecture. The City Palace consists of 11 beautiful palaces and all were built at different times by different kings. Bagour ki Haveli is located near Pichola Lake. It was constructed by Amir Chand Barwa in the 18th century. The museum presents the culture of Mewar. Jagdish Mandir – Jagdish Mandir Udaipur
Jagdish Mandir, built in 1651, is the largest temple in Udaipur. An estimated 1.5 million INR was spent on this stunning Indo-Aryan architectural marvel. It is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and also has other temples dedicated to Lord Shiva, Ganesh, Sun God and Goddess Shakti.
