1. Tomato
Your digestion process slows down during rainy days. Therefore, the consumption of tomatoes should be reduced. In addition, tomatoes contain some alkaline components, which are scientifically called alkaloids. It is sprayed on trees to protect the crop from pests and larvae. Some of it also goes into tomatoes. Since it is a kind of poisonous chemical, eat less tomatoes during rainy days. Eating too many tomatoes can cause dermatitis.
2. Cabbage
Large bunches of cabbage can be seen in the market during the rainy season. However, make sure the cabbage is good inside. Cabbage often looks good on top. However, insects hide inside it. So if the cabbage leaves are swollen from above, then do not take that cabbage. Also, when you come home after buying cabbage, put it in salt water for some time. So if there is any worm in the cabbage, it will go out immediately.
3. Brinjal
According to the scriptures, brinjal is prohibited in the month of Sawan. The scientific reason is that there are more insects in brinjal in Sawan. In such a situation, eggplant can have a bad effect on health. Therefore, brinjal should not be eaten during the rainy season. Once the worms hit the brinjal, the whole brinjal is spoiled. By the way, many people remove that worm part and use another good part. Don’t do this by mistake though, as these microscopic pests are spread throughout the eggplant, which can make you sick.

4. Mushrooms
Mushrooms should not be consumed during rainy days. Mushrooms grow in polluted places and environments. In addition, some species of mushrooms are poisonous. Therefore, avoid eating mushrooms during rainy days. Because it can increase your risk of getting an infection.
5. Spinach
Spinach is essential for iron deficiency in the body. It is also said that spinach increases the immunity of the body. However, spinach is more likely to contain many microscopic larvae or insects during the rainy season. No matter how green the spinach is, if it has whitish-yellow lines or spots on its leaves, then it should not be bought. Microscopic larvae are likely to develop inside these spots.
